International Gita Foundation Trust

The International Gita Foundation will be an institution made up of similar minded people with a special interest in promotion of the philosophy of Srimad Bhagavad Gita.

 Objectives: 

  1. The main objective of the foundation would be to find out the ways and means of bringing an interest in Gita in the minds of the younger generation in India and abroad.
  2. To encourage youngsters to develop an interest in the Gita and to encourage them to find out more about the teachings of Sri Krishna so that they can implement it in their lives.
  3. Identify and keep a register of scholars abroad who are experts in the vedic and Upanishad philosophy and are teaching the same through the various institutions and chairs.
  4. Organize regular global Gita Conferences wherever possible and provide a common platform for saints, scholars to give lecture on Gita. The topics covered during those lectures will be related to the day to day life of the individuals and the society with reference to the preaching by Sri Krishna to Arjuna through the medium of Gita and which brings about “Peace, Prosperity, Victory, Happiness, Expansion and Sound policy”.
  5. Invite and honour the scholars identified at the global conference.
